We have a busy Memorial Day Weekend Planned. We are doing a 27 person family shoot in PA on Saturday with people ranging from 60+ to less than a year old! It should be a fun time!
Sunday we have a portfolio shoot in the afternoon, and Monday we are taking pictures at the Mt. Olive Memorial Day Parade! Why Mt. Olive and not Hackettstown you might ask... Well, Sean's mother and father have been on the Mt. Olive Memorial Day Parade Committee since the beginning, and well, we have never missed a parade! Even when Avery was only a few weeks old! Maybe when they retire we will finally be able to attend Hackettstown's Memorial Day Parade. :)

Hackettstown Spring Festival
I spent a lovely 3.5 hours sitting in Hackettstown today. I met a dozen or so very interesting people and had a great time watching people drive through town. The streets were busy with cars and people taking the trolley to the Spring Festival by Lowes. they rang the little bell of the trolley at each stop. It really was quite quaint.
All in all I am learning that this really is a nice little tight knit community. Businesses are there looking to help other local businesses and people truly are interested in using local business to help the economy and our town thrive and grow. Its something I am really proud to be a part of.
I had the pleasure of meeting the ladies at The Art House on Main Street (they are in the old Canine Cafe shop) http://www.thearthousenj.com/Site/Home.html. I am personally looking forward to having some fun art time with the kids there!! Plus, they have a kiln and do pottery classes!!! YEAH!!! Be sure to check them out!!
We headed to c'mere cupcake for a dozen cupcakes for a party we were invited to. Yummy and fun choosing my favorites! I had the opportunity to talk to the owner John, great guy. Wednesday we are headed to Vintner's Circle to make my Mother's Day present!! Yep, my gift was the gift of making wine. http://www.vintnerscircle.com/ Should be a blast!! More info to come!...
